These terms apply when you use BirthdayPerks.my. By using the site you agree to them, so if you don’t agree, please don’t use it. How we handle personal data is covered in our privacy policy.
What BirthdayPerks.my is
A free, community-maintained list of birthday perks in Malaysia. Anyone can browse, and anyone signed in can add or edit a perk.
Perk information
- Perks are added and checked by the community. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- We aren’t connected to the brands listed and can’t promise any outlet will honour a perk. The brand’s own terms always apply.
- Always check with the outlet before you go. We’re not responsible if a perk is refused, changed or withdrawn.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure. One account per person.
What you add
You’re responsible for what you post. When you add or edit perks, reviews, replies or photos:
- Be accurate and honest. Only share perks you’ve seen yourself or found in a source you’ve read.
- No spam, ads or referral links, and no personal promo codes or member numbers.
- Don’t post other people’s personal information.
- Only upload photos you took or have the right to share.
- Nothing illegal, hateful, harassing or misleading.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give BirthdayPerks.my a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, show, edit, adapt and share it as part of the site. For perk listings, edits and photos, this licence continues after you delete your account. Anyone can edit perk listings, and the full edit history stays public.
Moderation
We can edit, hide or remove anything on the site, and suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
Sponsored content
Some cards are marked “Sponsored” and link to other websites. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for them.
Brands and trademarks
Brand names and logos belong to their owners. We use them only to show which business offers a perk. If you represent a brand and want a listing corrected or removed, email hello@birthdayperks.my.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”. We don’t promise it will always be available, accurate or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
As far as Malaysian law allows, BirthdayPerks.my isn’t liable for any loss or damage from using the site or relying on a perk listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
